The really wet spring made this an all-summer project. We are in our 70s and did all the work ourselves, mostly early mornings for a couple hours each day. The hardest part was re-configuring the sprinkler zones to minimize over-watering. The green fencing around individual plants along with cayenne pepper discouraged the resident squirrels from eating all the blossoms. We pick the fall Garden In A Box selection up this week. Shout out to the Flower Bin in Longmont who stocks almost all the varieties of pollinator-friendly plants recommended by CSU.

It was so easy and it even included a suggested landscape map of where to plant in relation to other plants. I planted in April and it is now September, I did not think they’d bill out as much as they did. I am so happy!
