Advice from the Owner
We love the constantly changing landscape of our front yard. We are now visited by hummingbirds and honeybees. Every day there are new flowers opening up and gorgeous colors. Currently, we have already reduced our water use by half. By the end of next year, I would expect to halve that usage again until we are down to a fraction of what we used to water the front lawn. Our neighbors love the change and we couldn't be happier. There are so many free resources available: Chipdrop provided 3 loads of mulch for free and resource central helped to remove our lawn. I highly recommend: don't wait, plan and do this next summer!Back to Inspiration Hub
