Advice from the Owner
We wanted to support bees, birds, and butterflies while reducing water use in our suburban setting. We love that so many birds enjoy the gardens year round! All three gardens were from Garden in a Box. We learned that wood mulch is not as effective as a non-organic mulch such as pea gravel. We are transitioning to pea gravel as a mulch.
